Bright Raven Skies Review
This book was amazing, and the stakes were high. I wanted to know where Tristan and Eseult were, and I was fully invested in what would happen next. Additionally, I loved how it focused on politics while also diving into character. I mean, this book had all of the characters fully flushed out and developed. It didn't matter how minor they were. Moreover, I liked Branwen's character arc. While she started out as naive in Sweet Black Waves, she changed and learned how to adapt. And, Bright Raven Skies really shows this. I was also excited to read about one of my favorite characters King Marc. He had won me over in Wild Savage Stars, and I like him even more after reading this book.
While the characterization played a large part in the series, the plot was just as good. We got to see Branwen, her power, and the consequences of using that power throughout the series. It continues in this book. Everything even more interesting and shocking, so I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. I was also intrigued by the role that the court and the monarchies played in Bright Raven Skies. Everything they did had to be well planned out, and I loved reading about that. The book had the thrill that it needed and a great conclusion.
My Rating
Overall, I loved this book, and it was a great end to such a emotionally enticing series. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 starts on Goodreads, and I would highly recommend this book series!
